Age 3 Hebrew Academy Experience

         Our three-year-old children experience a balanced language approach to reading and writing through the Voices Reading curriculum by Zaner-Bloser. Weekly songs, poems, and stories help children develop phonological awareness, comprehension and oral language skills. There is a strong emphasis on relationships and community, with integrated content in math, science, social studies, art and music. The students are exposed to many different science concepts, with exploration in a hands-on, interactive manner. EnVision Math by Pearson introduces children to early math skills such as numbers 1-10, creating and identifying patterns, measurement, geometry and more. The curriculum provides games, vocabulary and interactive activities to help the students develop their math skills in an exciting manner. The Hebrew alphabet is introduced and the children continue to explore Jewish holidays and the weekly Torah portion through interactive activities and art.
